A retreat house and guest accommodation in the heart of the Coromandel
The HouseThe House is situated in the grounds of the church precinct and fronts onto a large parking area. Surrounded by trees and shrubs in its own fenced off garden, the House looks west out across to the Coromandel Harbour and hills beyond. To the east, the hills of the Coromandel Peninsula rise above the town, affording a majestic backdrop to this picturesque location.

The Hall
It has a stage (with piano), but best of all is its view out across the Coromandel Harbour, which provides a unique atmosphere for those using it. The Hall is warm in Winter and cool in Summer. Self-catering or organised catering can be provided for events using the Hall facilities and it can be 'dressed' to suit the ambience wished for by its users. The Hall caters for 60 or more people seated for a stage performances, or large meetings and presentations. With tables and chairs arranged for a meal, it can comfortably seat 40 diners in 'café style' with ample space between tables, or otherwise arranged in a more 'baronial' style. It is a flexible and comfortable space for meetings, seminars and social gatherings alike.
History
The church that stands today replaces the original 1873 building, which was damaged during a huge storm during the late 1930's and had to be demolished.

The current church was built in 1940. The Vicarage built in the 1960's, replaces an older house that is situated next door and is now part of a motel complex. The modern and well-equipped Hall was attached to the church building in 1970.
