The house has five bedrooms (2 double and 3 single or twin), two bathrooms, a kitchen and dining area and a large lounge room suitable for both leisure and group discussions.

The Parish Hall adjacent to the House is ideally situated for retreats with a large plenary space, fully functioning kitchen and toilet facilities.

Benedict House is also used as the national retreat centre for the Anglican Benedictine Order of Holy Cross in Aotearoa-New Zealand.

Located in the grounds of the historic Anglican Parish of Christ Church Coromandel, the house that was originally the Vicarage, is now a place of hospitality for travellers and a retreat house for a variety of users. With the church and adjacent hall being available, the House provides an excellent venue for both self-catered or catered events. In the hospitality tradition of Saint Benedict, this House is named for him as its patron.
